The Legendary Twins (USA)
Keith and Kevin Smith, The Legendary Twins were born and raised in the Bronx, New York, the birthplace of the Hip Hop and home of The Bronx Bombers (New York Yankees).
The Twins are first generation b-boys and are credited as the first dance crew to go down to the floor with footwork and vertical moves back in the 70s.
In 1999, The Twins were recognised and honoured along with several hip hop pioneers by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and participated in Roots, Rhymes and Rage - The Hip Hop Story Exhibit, The Freshest Kids
For over 30 years, The Twins have worked within their community by coaching AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) basketball, where they were instrumental in producing several of the nation's top high school ballers, NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic association) National Champions, along with former and current NBA (National Basketball Association) players.
Currently, Keith is in his 26th year at one of the nation's premiere real estate firms, while Kevin has been comfortably retired since 1998.
The Twins' contribution as the founding fathers of b-boys was recently celebrated by being inducted into the prestigious Hip Hop Hall of Fame on 19 May 2014.
