Oliver Fitzgerald

Oliver starting dancing at twelve in his home town of Doncaster. By sixteen he was making his living from choreographing, teaching and performing for RB productions, dance and model agency and had begun to make a name for himself as a street dance specialist.

At 20 he went on to train at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance were he gained a BA Hons degree in dance.

After leaving Northern Oliver moved to London to pursue his passion and further his training in hip hop dance. He has been lucky enough to train with many of the pioneers in hip hop: Popin Pete, Suga Pop and Shabba Doo to name a few. Oliver has now focused his training on house and locking.

Alongside performing since 16 Oliver has focused his career on teaching and working with young people. He has lead sessions in pupil referral units, special needs schools, colleges and secondary schools and is passionate about bringing positivity and passion into his students’ lives.

He currently freelances for the Royal Academy of dance- step into dance programme and the Breakin’ Convention education programme. He has also recently started delivering teacher training sessions and has recently entered his first battle... watch this space!
