Dancer and choreographer Sean Graham has been the recipient of the Trailblazers Award (2008) by the Association of Dance of the African Diaspora ADAD, Marion North Choreographer Mentorship Award - Trinity-Laban Conservatoire(2009) and has been a temporary resident artist in partnership with State Of Emergency Ltd and The Bernie Grant Arts Centre (2007).
As a dancer Graham has worked successfully in commercial and theatrical capacities. After touring with one of the pioneers of UK Jazz (Irven Lewis - Brothers In Jazz), he went on to dance with a wide category of companies that enabled him to utilise and develop his many varied techniques - including, contemporary, ballet, african and hip hop styles - with companies such as Vocab Dance, Avant Garde Dance, Spread Expression, Bricolage Dance Company, Adesola Akinleye Dance and others.
Graham's work has been seen at Stratford Circus, The Place Theatre, The Royal Opera House, Sadler's Wells and Olympia stadium. His choreography has been commissioned for musicals, international contemporary, Jazz and hip hop festivals, commercial clients, playwrite Fin Kennedy and novelist/playwrite Gemma Weekes.
For a number of years Graham has taught and lectured for East London Dance, Sadler's Wells, The University of East London and at the Trinity-Laban Conservatoire.
