Si Rawlinson, born in Hong Kong to English and Chinese parents, has always had a fascination with how culture is adopted or chosen. Performing for over a decade, from leading institutions like the NYT in 2005 to National Theatre in 2014 where he was described as “dazzling” in review (The Stage), and working with artists on the cutting edge of hip hop, he founded Wayward Thread in 2015.

Marius Mates was born in Bacau, Romania, where he started dancing in 2005. He moved to the UK in 2010, where he continues to compete and perform. He has won countless UK and international accolades, including competing in Red Bull BC One Eastern Europe Finals, and created the company Moving Spaces.

Vladimir Gruev, born in Bulgaria, has been breaking for nine years. Starting in the crew MonsTribe, and then working with Atom Theatre in Bulgaria, Vladimir has been combining photography, film and dance.
