As we prepare to head East in 2021, we're undertaking projects of 'Olympic' proportions!

Breakin' Convention recently finished our Moving Rap project, a collaboration between Breakin' Convention and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park involving eight schools in East London working with rappers and choreographers to create a performance, later showcased at Here East in the Olympic Park.

After an exciting assembly tour, we shortlisted twelve schools to eight, with a select number of students from each school developing a piece every week with our tutors, to showcase at a big performance with all the schools, tutors and audience in just two months!

Breakin' Convention will be moving into the Olympic Park in 2021 as part of Sadler's Wells' expansion in to the East, and we are excited to start the Hip Hop Academy at Sadler's Wells Theatre there to help develop more skills and opportunities for young people.
