Producing and Touring Intern - Fixed term, part time position

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to take your first step to a career in the arts. 

This could be your chance to gain valuable experience in an established arts organisations.

We are looking for a Producing and Touring Intern to assist with the administrative and coordination support for the creation and tours of Sadler's Wells productions, both within the UK and abroad.

Sadler's Wells is a world-leading dance house, presenting a year-round programme of dance of every kind to annual audiences of over half a million on its three London stages: Sadler's Wells' theatre (1,500 seats), the Lilian Baylis Studio (180 seats) and The Peacock (1,000 seats). It also commissions and produces cutting-edge original work and tours it to arts venues in the UK and overseas. 

Sadler's Wells' producing and touring programme ensures we can play a dynamic role in the development of dance and bring innovative and inspiring productions to audiences across the world.

You will have good administrative and organisational skills and be able to manage and prioritise varied workloads. You will also be a strong communicator, and a good team player, with an eye for detail. 

We will give you access to support and training, with the opportunity to gain an insight in to the creative industries.

Working hours are 30 hours over four days per week.

Development Manager, Individual Giving - Full time position

With a year round programme of dance that appeals to a diverse audience base, there are infinite possibilities for matching our dance productions with major donors, patrons and individuals who appreciate our brand values. We are looking for a creative individual who can get potential supporters excited about supporting us.

Sadler's Wells has three venues and we're in the process of building a fourth, so this is a unique chance to be part of the organisation's growth and to develop revenue, and a donor portfolio that supports our strategic goals.

You will be skilled in creating and developing strong relationships with supporters and stakeholders at all levels, confident to secure and retain new business from individuals. You will also be highly driven and organised, able to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve targets and deadlines. As an excellent communicator, you will be confident in supporting and coaching junior team members whilst maintaining a professional manner at all times. A willingness to work outside of normal working hours is essential.

Content and Community Manager, Londondance.com - Part time position (30 hours per week)

Dance is the most exciting art form around today. We're seeking someone who can get Londoners excited about dance through a progressive approach to content creation and curation, and online community management.

Londondance.com has been successfully promoting dance and dancing in London for the last 15 years. As the world's digital landscape is disrupted, we're looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual who is one step ahead of the online transformation taking place. 

So if you know your dance A to Z (or Akram Khan to Zenaida Yanowsky), and a have a passion for building dance audiences and increasing dance participation, we want to hear from you.

Kitchen Porter - Fulltime positions

Join our Catering and Events department and contribute to the smooth running and delivery of excellent food & beverage services throughout our venues.
Sadler's Wells is a world-leading dance house – a place where artists come together to create dance and where people of all ages and from all walks of life come to experience dance. At the heart of Sadler's Wells is a spirit of creative innovation and artistic collaboration. This is where dance and choreography meet art, design, music and theatre.   

The Catering and Events department is responsible for delivering an excellent food & beverage service throughout Sadler's Wells and the Peacock.    

The Kitchen Porters are responsible for ensuring that the kitchen is cleaned and maintained to company standards. They will assist in the smooth running of the kitchen in order to give a good service to our visitors and guests. The successful candidates will be personable, hardworking, and excellent team players with a can do attitude. Previous experience of working within a kitchen environment would be advantageous.

Sous Chef - Fulltime position

Have you got a passion for food and a great palate? We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team and work alongside our Development Head Chef.

At the heart of Sadler's Wells is a spirit of creative innovation and artistic collaboration. This is where dance and choreography meet art, design, music and theatre.   

The Catering and Events Department is responsible for the delivering of all food and beverage service throughout Sadler's Wells and The Peacock.   

We are looking for a Sous Chef to support the Development Head Chef in creating seasonal menus, managing the kitchen and contributing an excellent guest experience throughout Sadler's Wells.   

You will have a passion for food and a good palate, with excellent communication skills and a creative approach to menu design. You will also be a strong leader, with previous experience working at Sous Chef level.   

Salary circa £30,000 per annum, plus benefits.
