Our Projects
Open Art Surgery
Open Art Surgery is a one week development programme for emerging hip hop artists. Work alongside cutting-edge mentors to test ideas, then present work-in-progress to a public audience with facilitated discussion to get feedback on your ideas.
Back To The Lab
Back To The Lab is a two week intensive for experienced choreographers to explore new ways of approaching the creation of new work, culminating in the development of a new piece performed in front of a public audience.
Higher Learning
Higher Learning is a hip hop theatre education and development programme committed to the development of the genre. Lead by a range of industry specialists through intensive workshops, courses and educational days.
Future Elements
A six-day programme bringing together young people aged 13-16 to learn new skills and explore their talents. These aspiring dancers, MCs, graffiti artists, film makers and music producers work intensively with professional hip hop artists to write lyrics, produce music, choreograph routines, create artwork and shoot a music video, before its shown to the public at their very own film night.
And More
We're always working with other organisations to provide new and engaging ways for young people to get creative through hip hop and theatre. Whether they're exploring lyrics through graffiti in projects like Graffical, or devising their own stage production in a hip hop youth theatre project like Starting From Scratch; we're here to inspire a new generation of artists and performers.
